Great performance starts with a plan.

One of the most valuable lessons competitive swimming can teach our children is how to make a plan, delay gratification, persevere and achieve success.

But many swimmers don't know what goes into setting appropriate goals and building a plan to hit them.

In a free 1 hour session this August the FM team of record breakers, college coaches and Olympians will show you how to plan for progress.

Places are limited, there will be 3 spots distributed on a first come, first serve basis and a draw for later eligible applicants.

In a lesson that applies to everything in life as well as it does to Swimming John Waldman breaks down the 5 steps in the FM Goal Achievement process.

The Session

In the session we will get to understand the specific needs and ambitions of your swimmer and answer the key questions that stand in the way of successful planning.

We will find a time for you, your swimmer and our consultant to

  • What is a reasonable goal to set?
  • What milestones should I set on the way?
  • How efficient does my stroke need to be?
  • What are the weaknesses that I need to address?
  • What are the opportunities for improvement?
  • How do I match my strength training to my technique?
